Churton Park will be one of the first suburbs in the country to get the new ultra-fast broadband. Chorus has indicated that work is scheduled to start before Christmas. This will enable internet speeds approximately 10 times faster than current.
The Chorus website highlights Churton as one of the earlier Ultra fast broadband areas.
The website states ” Chorus plans to deploy UFB fibre to enable UFB services for schools, health premises, businesses and homes by July 2012. This network will supersede our existing business fibre network in some places.”
