Just in time for Zombie awareness month, the ideal Zombie Proof home has been found.
This home wakens and opens with the dawn and closes up at the end of the day to seal against outside threats. For extra security there is a holding room which visitors have to wait in until they are allowed to enter by the buildings inhabitants. Visitors have to enter via a draw bridge on the second floor.
Built between 2005 and 2009 on the outskirts of Warsaw, the house features Rubik’s Cube-type movable parts and folds in on itself completely at the end of the day to seal against outside threats. ”Every day the house acts in a similar way — it wakes up every morning to close up after dusk,” says architect Robert Konieczny.
